"2VBA2C at Kalgoorlie Hospital"

We are very grateful for the team at Kalgoorlie Hospital (and our private Dr, Dr Kylie S) for the willingness and ability to have our forth child at the Kalgoorlie Hospital.

Our previous children were born in New Zealand, 2 C-Sections and 1 VBAC. We knew when moving to Kalgoorlie we would like to have another child but were concerned we may not be able to birth at the Kalgoorlie Hospital due to being high risk.

We were able to discuss the risks, as well as we felt listened to when we explained why we wanted a 2VBA2C and why travelling to Perth was not really suitable for our family (3 other young children, no family in Perth, work commitments, finances etc)

We came up with a 'plan' we were all happy with and we were able to successfully have our forth child successfully and with no problems in September 2025.

We are very grateful that we weren't told to simply go to Perth or have another c-section, and that we could find the safest way possible to have our baby while remaining in Kalgoorlie.
