"Attended ED and No follow up from Social Worker"

About: Eastern Suburbs Mental Health Service Prince of Wales Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I attended the ED Department last week. I spoke to a doctor and we agreed a social worker would contact me to assist further. At the time of writing this, it has been over 2 days since I attended ED and still no contact from the Social Worker. I feel let down by the NSW Health system, i feel the ED department hasnt taken my mental health concerns seriously. I am in desperate need of help and honestly feel like they dont care about me.
