I was referred to MGP4 at 20 weeks pregnant by my GP, where myself and boyfriend were guided and supported through our pregnancy journey with regular appointments and scans provided to us, and at each appointment they checked baby’s growth and provided us with an information booklet as well as face to face information we could use throughout the pregnancy.
At 39 weeks and 6 days I gave birth to a very Healthy 3.7kg baby boy after going in for an induction at 39 weeks and 5 days. The midwives from MGP4 supported and guided me through labour and birth while following my birth plan to the best they could by also ensuring myself and baby wouldn’t be at risk.
Throughout my entire 24 hour labour I was made to feel very comforted and supported by the midwives and they also made sure my boyfriend was looked after as well throughout the entire experience. The midwives and Doctors were constantly asking for my consent when doing observations and examinations.
I was also provided with lots of information after the birth of my baby with postnatal care of myself, partner and baby. After giving birth and going home we had regular home visits with our midwife when she checked on myself, partner and baby with all postnatal care. While also been supported with my breastfeeding/pumping journey.
If I have another baby I will definitely be going back to MGP4 as they are such an amazing group of midwives and would highly recommend the MGP practice for all pregnant women.
