"My full hysterectomy surgery experience"

I am from the Philippines and married to an Australian citizen. It was my first time ever to undergo surgery , and it happened here in Australia. At first, I was very scared and anxious because I was in another country, far from home, and unsure of what to expect from the procedure.

I felt truly blessed to have Dr. Rajeev as my surgeon at Karratha Health Campus. I had heard so many good things about him , how skilled, kind, and professional he is , and I was overjoyed and relieved when I learned that he would be the one performing my surgery. Dr. Rajeev explained everything to me clearly , from what the procedure would involve, to what I should expect before and after the operation. He understood how nervous I was since it was my first major surgery, but his calm and reassuring manner made me feel safe and confident.

Throughout the whole process, Dr. Rajeev treated me with genuine care and respect, just like a family member. I truly felt that I was in good hands. I also want to express my deepest appreciation to the midwife who looked after me during my hospital stay(im sorry i forgot her name but i gave her flowers before i left the hospital). At a time when I felt most vulnerable, she was there with such warmth and compassion , it honestly felt like having my own mum beside me. Her kindness and gentle care made a huge difference and helped me recover faster, both physically and emotionally.

Now that I am on my way to full recovery, I am sincerely grateful to Dr. Rajeev, the midwife, and the entire team at Karratha Health Campus. They provided not only excellent medical care but also the comfort and support I truly needed during one of the most challenging moments of my life. I highly recommend Dr. Rajeev to anyone in Karratha, Western Australia who needs a gynaecologist , he is truly an exceptional doctor and a compassionate person dedicated to his patients.
