"Waiting time on phone line"

About: Prince of Wales Hospital / PB4 - Eye Clinic

(as a parent/guardian),

Hi I have been trying to change an appointment at Prince of Wales eye clinic 9382 2261 for many days. At the time of writing this I have just spent 1 1/2 hours waiting, only to be cut off at 4.30. I believe there are at least 3 people work in reception, surely they can answer a phone. If this is too hard, perhaps an online system can be installed.

Dear Brow,

Thank you for letting us know, and we’re sorry to hear about the difficulty you’ve had reaching the clinic. We understand how frustrating long wait times and dropped calls can be, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We will look into our phone coverage and explore options to improve accessibility.

If you can leave your contact details on this email SESLHD-GeneralManager-POWHSSEH@health.nsw.gov.au, I will make contact with you.

Kind Regards

Andrew Maxwell
