"The waiting room"

About: Joondalup Health Campus

(as the patient),

I arrived by ambulance ,in severe abdominal pain ,triaged unseen by triage staff, put in the waiting room, in pain there I sat from 5.20 pm till 5.30 am couldnt drink or eat or sleep ,if I complained to triage staff,  in what I felt was a horrible tone told to just go sit down. 

I watched people ask for their cannulas to be removed and walk out. Now to me these people were sick it was the saddest time, people vomiting offered pain relief. I was in disbelief watching, observing triage nurses with no apparent compassion empathy. I believe they could of not cared less.

It seemed to me that triage nurses act like DRS, making decisions in my opinion that they should not be making. Finally i got a bed nurse just into bed ,I tried bed went flying across the other side of the room no brakes on hurt my back, rang for nurse told them and I felt they could not of cared less

I did put in a complaint never heard back
