"pain relief"

About: Prince of Wales Hospital

(as the patient),

I have been in hospital many times over the last 13 years due to pain problems.   I have never experienced such a unique hospital like prince of wales.   Every single staff member I have seen has been amazing.  Always smiling and never cranky.   This is a very very different situation in every other hospital i have been to.

My last visit to a hospital was when my grandmother was on her death bed and still the nurses were extremely rude and arrogant  (obviously not at this hospital) so to be able to spend a week here and feel this way is absolutely amazing and I think whoever is in charge of running things here really deserves praise.

From the environment to the staff to the food.  I have never been able to eat hospital food until this visit its exceptionally good quality  and makes me wonder why all hospitals are not like this.  I felt it my duty to express my gratitude of the staff on level 6 every single nurse has been a delight and nothing has been a bother to them. If I could praise more than this somewhere else I would.  And I must say I've seen many different nurses  so usually that should mean I'm bound to find at least 1 cranky nurse.  Nope  not here.  And the atrium is such a lovely peaceful addition to be able to sit and enjoy fresh air

Dear silverwaresh37,

Thank you for sharing such a moving and thoughtful reflection on your experience at Prince of Wales Hospital. It is great to hear that the care, environment, and dedication of the staff—especially the nurses on Level 6—made such a positive and lasting impression during your stay. Your generous feedback will be shared with the team and leadership, as it is deeply encouraging and affirms the importance of the compassionate, patient-centred culture they strive to uphold every day.

Kind Regards

Andrew Maxwell
