"Caring Care And Concern At Sale Hospital"

About: Sale Hospital / Day Procedure Unit

(as the patient),

This year I had two day procedures at Sale Hospital.

The firts time I was very anxious, blood pressure high on admission because I was having veins out.

Needed doing but boy was I scared.

The care I received from the admitting nurse and those in the "waiting ward" calmed me down. Not only they way they all interacted with me but when I overheard other conversations...casual.

This time my blood pressure was normal..because I knew it would be all right.

The same male nurse was there, sans beard, but his gentle tone of voice made him recognisable.

All nursing and cleaning staff  were very friendly and helpful.

I gather too were the surgeons as my veins are gone and I managed to keep down the welcome sandwiches and cup of tea after the operation
