"Emergency Room & admission"

About: Queanbeyan District Hospital

(as the patient),

A few days ago at 8 am, I went to the emergency room for a gallstone stuck in my bile duct. They immediately took us in and set me up in an emergency room, gave me saline and treated even the smallest symptoms and concerns with care. The nurses were incredible, especially the first one I had that helped my anxiety calm down very well; Yeban.

Eventually, I was admitted for 24 hours to take care of my Jaundice and the staff were amazing. I was panicked and scared as this was my first time being in a hospital overnight, alone and having an IV (which I was scared of), but so much staff kept me safe, kept me protected and talked me through every process and helped me with anything I needed.

This whole experience with the hospital was fantastic. The staff, the nurses and the kitchen employees were wonderful. Everyone checked up on me when they walked in and treated me with love. I wouldn't have been okay without the help of these wonderful people and I am very thankful for them.
