"Emergency Care Experience"

About: St George Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I arrived in Emergency in the morning a week ago. The lady titled The Patient Experience Officer was exceptional. She was extremely compassionate and caring and helpful as well as her accompanying nurses. This lady was available to chat to when a concern arose and she took matters seriously and with genuine care. She and the accompanying nurses were so helpful in managing my pain and making me feel seen and valued. I am extremely grateful for their care and efforts in such a chaotic and busy space. The doctors that followed (afternoon) were also extremely caring and took my concerns seriously. Thankyou to all staff who were involved in my care today.
