I have been in the FSH Rehab unit for approximately two and a half weeks with a triomelliar Fractured on my left ankle and a mild fracture in my right. I have been engaging in physio and making some progress.
The Dr with the Team recently told me I'm making progress and they are looking at discharging me next week, with home physio coming into my house. The thing is, I live upstairs and we have only just started working on stairs and using crutches. I don't even know if my left ankle has healed as there is still a lot of pain and I am still in Cam boots. Also, how can I go from " one assist " when using crutches, to going home and walking upstairs on my own?
I feel like they are trying to rush me out and feel like they don't think my concerns are serious enough. I have all this metal in my ankle and it still is painful and I don't even know if it's healed without complication. I just feel like crying because I live alone and I am scared and not ready!
"Discharge from Rehabilitation unit."
