I have nf1 and a tumour on a nerve on my left clavicle that causes me a lot of pain and sometimes I can’t move my arm. I had a phone call from sir Charles Gardiner hospital about 3 months ago to say, I had a referral 5 years ago for neurosurgery do I want to keep that referral . I said yes and had to get a further referral from my GP which I did.
That was 3 months ago and I was accepted after 5 years and put down as priority 2.
I am still yet to get an appointment. I rang out patients direct recently who got in touch with the hospital, who said they are not taking priority 2 patients I have to get a referral as a priority one for them to see me. I am not lying to say my condition is life threatening to see them.
