"Unnecessary delay in Xray report"

About: Kununurra Hospital

(as a service user),

GP rang Kununurra Hospital Radiology to get copies of my chest xray report and was advised they wouldn’t be able to get the report for 7 days and when they asked to speak with the radiologist, the call was disconnected. Given the medical centre ordered the xray I feel the information should have been available as I have the X-rays on MyRad app

Dear avocetfnq53,

Thank you for your feedback. In order to investigate this matter fully for you could you please reach out to our Radiology Service Manager, Sueanne Burford, either by email - sueanne.burford@health.wa.gov.au or by calling the radiology department on 9166 4215 and asking to be transferred to her.

Alternatively, please feel free to reach out to myself on either 9166 4656 or by email - sarah.wallace2@health.wa.gov.au and I can pass your details on directly to Sueanne to investigate for you.

Kind Regards,

Sarah Wallace
