I had a good birth experience at Bunbury Hospital doctor anaesthetists and surgeon were really professional. However, I arrived from margaret river in labour at the ED and no one offered to bring me on the maternity ward. I saw 2 workers were sitting chatting at the reception and the ED was empty. My husband had to find a wheelchair himself and we had to find the maternity ward ourself while i was labouring.
Also, I was 2 days post operation after c-section and I felt I was rushed by the nurses to leave hospital. I was in so much pain in bunbury and I believe they wanted to send me home because the ward was to busy. I got transferred to another hospital which was amazing because I had all the support needed. I think that women shouldn't be rushed and needs time post partum to get some support and education at the hospital to feel stronger before going home.
