"Care at Busselton"

About: Busselton Health Campus / General Ward Busselton Health Campus / Maternity Unit, Childbirth & Parenting Education

(as the patient),

I was transferred from another hospital post csection and I had great care from the nurses in busselton. They gave me education about my recovery and my newborn. I felt supported with my recovery and I believe it's important to dont get rushed to go home if you're not ready.  Busselton listened to my need and Lisole the night shift nurse was amazing she give me tips for my baby to sleep at night she even took her to help me sleep and recover.

The nurses in busselton hospital were caring and helped me to feel confident before going home. Lisole has been taking my newborn at night to help me get some rest and recover and she was always checking on me taking the time to listen to my needs. I never had such a good experience in hospital than Busselton hospital.

Hi Heya,

Congratulations on the birth of your baby! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience on the Busselton Maternity Unit. Recovering from a caesarean section while caring for a newborn can be such a vulnerable time and I'm so glad you felt listened to, supported and never rushed. Knowing you felt confident and cared for before going home is exactly what we hope for for every mum.

I have passed on your feedback to Liesl and the whole maternity team. They will be touched to hear how much of a difference their care has made for you.

Thank you again for trusting us with your care and for sharing your kind words. We wish you and your family in the best as you settle in at home.

Kind Regards,

Marnie
