"Excellence in caring. Ward 5 South Orthopaedic"

Hi,

I’ve recently been in Ward 5 at Prince of Wales Hospital for some time.

I’ve come up from the South Coast by the beach and I miss my surroundings immensely.

I entered Prince of Wales through the ED and was treated promptly, professionally and with kindness.

In Ward 5 I was in traction and every single one of the nursing staff led by Lisa was very emphatic with my situation.

I was given the utmost care and attention including ensuring all my needs were met.

Lisa facilitated my bed movement to fresh air “ outside “ and spent some time with me chatting and boosting my spirits. She explained all my treatments clearly and answered my questions or obtained the relevant information.

Throughput my stay I felt very comfortable and all my needs were catered for with thoughtful consideration , professionalism making a difficult stay easier.

Please ensure all the sisters and nurses, in particular Lisa, are made aware of my feelings towards them.
