"Over 12 months just for the privilege of paying hundreds of dollars to see a specialist"

I have just received a letter from a Regional Hospital, after waiting for 2 months already after giving them a referral to see a urologist. That is all, just an appointment to sign a form for work that was due months ago.

The letter states that appointments at their clinic are currently over 12 months away... just to book a simple urologist appointment.

I will ask this once, and I will ask this angrily because (see other story) I have already been through a ringer of roadblock after roadblock just to get this form signed, and it was never signed!

So I am currently going to have to go back into the office with a known medical condition that will 100% cause me pain and discomfort, and work can do nothing about it because in my experience after 2 months the entire medical profession in this area cannot seem to get a simple form signed.

What is going on in this country right now when I cannot even get a doctors appointment?
