"ED Narrabri Hospital"

On Dec 28 2025 my wife presented herself to the ED of Narrabri Hospital. We were welcomed into a caring and supportive environment. My wife had broken her wrist in two places while preparing to leave our motel, on our way home to Melbourne.

We would like to thank and commend all staff involved in the care and treatment of this injury.

Dr 'Ash' - for manipulating the wrist (closed reduction) and applying a backslab to the forearm.

Andrew - anesthetist

Jenna - radiologist

and Tania, Cloe and Tracey

... all worked together as a team to attend the breakage as best that could be done with consultation from Tamworth Hospital.

We are now back home in Melbourne - following up on breakage at Dandenong Hospital - who confirmed the excellent treatment she was given.
