I attended Kalgoorlie Hospital Maternity for the delivery of my baby boy via a planned c section. The theatre staff were absolutely fantastic and caring and made me feel at ease. The OB’s who did my surgery were fantastic, the scar is absolutely phenomenal, I could not believe it when I looked at it. So neat and barely visible even just days later. It made my healing experience absolutely fantastic.
My baby did have some difficulties adjusting to life and the fantastic Paediatrician in theatre acted on this appropriately. My son was sent RFDS to PCH, and was returned safely to me on day 4 postpartum.
The staff at maternity are all so fantastic!!!! They provided me physical and emotional support and care during the difficult time when I was apart from my newborn baby. I wish I remembered everyone’s names individually as you were all incredible! I do want to personally thank Dr Anna, Shianah & Frankie
