"Margaret river MGP"

About: Margaret River Hospital / Maternity Department

(as a service user),

I just recently was discharged from the MGP at Margaret River. The care we received from this service was amazing from start to finish.

Although we were assigned one midwife we ended up seeing most of the staff at one point or another and cannot fault any of them. I felt supported throughout the whole journey and empowered to have the birth that I desired, even though none of it ended up going to plan!

Support in the post partum period also has been such a great help especially since we have no family close, the weekly check ins have been such a big help. We cannot speak more highly of this service for Margaret River families.

Dear empathymz96,

Thank you for your lovely words, we are so grateful for your feedback.

We are so glad to hear that you felt so supported and empowered throughout your pregnancy and labour and birth experience, especially as things didn't go to plan!

The early postpartum period can be really difficult without extended family close - I'm glad we could be of assistance to you and your family during this time.

Congratulations on the birth of your baby and we hope you are settling into motherhood and life with your newborn well!

Warm regards,

Amy Gumbrell
