"This review is directed to the Emergency Department"

This review is directed to the Emergency Department. In my opinion, they just keep on getting it wrong. Each time I have had to present for genuine medical situations, they have never got it right.

Why is Triage done in the waiting room for all to hear rather than in a separate room? Why was I denied a xray as requested by my GP in my emergency referral letter? Why was is there poor internet access which made it difficult to retrieve my referral letter? Why was the nurse who treated me so apparently inconvenienced by my attendance? Why was I denied a doctor? Was it because of the, in my opinion, surly and disinterested nurse that attended to me? I walked away a very mentally depleted and physically ill person.

My diagnosis no thanks to the apparently disinterested and, in my opinion, inconpetent medical staff on duty that day, is a surgical procedure and other complications which I believe should have been picked up immediately if the nurse on duty gave me the care I believe I needed and deserved and a simple xray which was denied, despite my doctors emergency referral . We have this magnificent facility with, in my experience, poor quality of care. I feel we local consumers deserve better from our ED .
