When I first arrived at Shanty Creek, I did not know what to expect. But over the last 4 months here I got to learn more about myself and my substance use. The staff were great and helpful. I would like to thank to them for helping me through. The programs gave me a bigger depth into why and how people turn to substance abuse and how to avoid it.
I have had great 4 months here; the outings have been awesome. I have made some lifelong friends here as well.
I would like to get a special thanks to Brett, Tanya, Surya, Sibby and Uncle Ron and Aunty Jenny, for all their support and for their belief in me.
Now that I am finishing the program it is now time for me to spread my wings and move forward into the future without substance use.
And once again a big thank you to all the staff at Shanty Creek.
