"Open wound and septic care"

About: Cohuna District Hospital Cohuna District Hospital / Acute Care

(as the patient),

I was taken to Cohuna hospital with a sliced finger on the Sunday and the care was immaculate! They made sure I was comfortable and had the right pain relief and the wound was clean. I was then back the next day due to fainting and temp etc and they were straight into it ensuring everything that it could possibly be was ruled out. They were very well knowledged around sepsis as well!

Sepsis prevention and management is a really important matter for our clinical team. Rapid response and commencement of treatment is essential. I am pleased to hear you had a good experience. Trust you are recovering well.
