When I approach PATS team about booking flights for appointments it seems there is always some reason it cant just be an easy process. In my experience the staff often appear to put barriers into place which make it difficult and frustrating especially when we are already going through trauma related to the medical conditions.
I have even had a Dr recommendation to travel with my partner as a support person, declined by the PATS staff to the point of the Dr needing to detail personal private medical conditions to an adminstrative person in order for them to approve and make the bookings.
This action is upsetting and exacerbates the already traumatic medical conditions suffered.
