"Amazing care during my recent admission"

About: Royal Perth Hospital / Emergency Department Royal Perth Hospital / Orthopaedic Surgical & Trauma & Spinal Care Ward 3H/5G

(as the patient),

I attended RPH ED with a neck/spinal injury on Feb 1. I wanted to submit this feedback to say a huge thankyou to every staff member involved in my care. I am so thankful for how friendly and kind all staff were: nurses, doctors, spinal team, orderlies, radiology and physios. I especially would like to say thank you to the ED triage nurse, I didn’t get her name but she was so kind and effecient, very calm and caring, keeping my family updated aswell.

I also want to say a huge thankyou to ED Doctor Joseph. He was so kind and thorough, when the CT scan came back clear he made sure I had an MRI scan too due to other symptoms, and that showed damage so I could be treated. He was very professional and made me and my family feel very cared for and safe.

And finally I’d like to say a huge thankyou to all the nurses on ward 5G, especially CN Carly. She was very professional and caring, she had a huge, heavy patient load and still made time to make sure small things like having my teeth brushed were done. She was so efficient and kind aswell.
