"A special nurse at the RAH"

I presented to the RAH emergency with intense leg pain. Transferred to the vascular unit, I was submitted for various tests , one being a CT scan. For the best part of an hour, several attempts to find a vein with needles were unsuccessful.  Even with an ultrasound searching and more attempts failed. At this stage I was in a state of fear of the invasive failed needle attempts and disconsolate.  However, by my side was this incredibly beautiful nurse, who held my hand, distracted me with complimentary discussion and soothing words. I don't recall her name just remember she was in her late 40s with blonde hair. I think an ex Qantas air hostess with world travels. To that wonderful woman, I thank you dearly
