"Skin Cancer Clinical Trials"

About: Wonthaggi Hospital

(as the patient),

I attended the Clinical Trials clinic for the skin cancer trials at Bass Coast Health.

What an amazing research project, exceeded only by the lovely staff running it. The thought of the assessment seemed a bit intimidating at first, but Trish was so kind, and respectful, and did an outstanding job!

Such incredible technology, and what an opportunity for people within our region to participate in this world-leading research.

As somebody who is in the High-Risk category for skin cancer, to be able to be fully assessed and so close to home rather than travelling to Melbourne was so reassuring, and made for an overall pleasant experience.
