My spouse was admitted for a day procedure and we are very close and they are also extremely anxious in hospitals
Support is vitally important in this situation and I was not allowed to wait with them
This upset us both as we were not advised of this and would have changed our hospital choice if we’d known
Very poor care and support for patients and family, in my opinion
