"Addiction with meth and have been treated at rehab with watershed"

About: Lives Lived Well – Watershed Residential Service (Wollongong)

(as the patient),

In January 2026 was left alone  lost and empty knowing I didn't want to use and didn't know how to over come the cravings and anxiety attacks while being clean and the inner personal crap that I needed to find about myself. The watershed and staff has given me the knowledge and ability to dig deep into myself and gave me tools and help to face and confront pain and emotions that I've been avoiding and even blind that they existed, the treatment and program allowed me to feel safe to let myself be vulnerable and let walls down to identify what, where and when things may have went wrong that led me to feel the need to feel substances fixed all my problems.

Hello Naride,

I am so glad the program at Watershed has been able to support you and help you on this journey.

Thank you for being so vulnerable and honest with this post. I know your sharing will help others who might be in similar situations.

I love hearing that you felt safe to be vulnerable and explore those emotions and feelings which we often ignore when we are not at our best or feeling comfortable to do so.

Keep up the awesome work. Thank you again for taking the time to write this message, and reach out if you need any supports in the future.

Kris
