"Excellent Midwife support experience at KEMH"

About: King Edward Memorial Hospital / Maternity

(as a relative),

Baby boy born on 2 March 2026 at King Edward Hospital, Subiaco.

We feel incredibly grateful to have had such an amazing midwife during the birth of our first child as first-time parents, we were naturally anxious and unsure about what to expect, but from the very beginning she made us feel safe, supported, and confident.

Their names are Erin, Lorna, Abbey and student Ali.

Erin's calm presence during labour was exactly what we needed. She explained every stage of the vaginal birth process clearly, guided us through breathing and positioning, and continuously reassured us with patience and kindness. Her professionalism, knowledge, and gentle encouragement gave my wife the strength and confidence to trust her body.

Lorna was also helpful in providing experienced guidance to us and team.

What truly stood out was their compassion. Erin, Lorna and Abbey never rushed us, respected our preferences, and made sure we felt involved in every decision. During the most intense moments of labour, her steady guidance and positive words made a world of difference.

Thanks to their support, our first birth experience was empowering, smooth, and deeply positive. We will always remember how she helped bring our baby safely into the world with such care and dedication.

We couldn’t have asked for a better midwife and will always be thankful for her outstanding support.
