(as the patient),

We had a wonderful experience going through the FBC at KEMH. We had 3 midwives that worked seamlessly together over the antenatal and birth journey to provide us with the care and support we needed as first time parents. During the birth we had changes of plans, these were communicated clearly and calmly to both my husband and I, and our midwives made sure we were well informed and able to make decisions that suited us and our baby. The postnatal care and education has been next level and we are truly greatful for the ongoing support. We can't speak highly enough of this model of care and it's amazing staff and thank them for helping bring our little boy into the world.

Congratulations on the birth of your little boy and thank you for taking the time to pass on your appreciation of the Family Birth Centre (FBC) team.

I was so pleased to read that you felt well supported and informed with your team of midwives. It was also wonderful to hear that during labour you and your husband were kept well informed, allowing you to make decisions that suited you and your baby, especially when plans changed.

At the Women and Newborn Health Service we strive to provide the very best care to our patients. It is clear from your feedback how much the support, guidance and care provided to you by the FBC team resulted in such a positive experience for your family.
