"Mum’s meeting for care"

About: St George Hospital / SGH Supportive Care Service

(as a relative),

The team at the Care Unit were wonderful in every way; questioning and trying to determine Mum’s current health and needs in order to provide her the best assistance for safety and quality of life.

It was heart warming to know all professionals involved in the meeting genuinely care about Mum’s story leading up to now and their offer of support for the future.

My parents have never asked for assistance up to now; we’re most appreciative that we are going to be supported in this time of need.

Thank you in advance!

Dear Mr Appreciative!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. It is heartening to know that your mother’s team took the time to discuss her needs and provide the support she requires to ensure both safety and quality of life. Our staff members strive to provide high-quality and patient-centred care to all patients, and we are pleased to know that you felt their genuine care and dedication. While no thanks are expected, I am certain the Supportive Care Service team will be grateful to hear of your appreciation. I will ensure your acknowledgement is passed on to senior management, the Supportive Care Service, and their peers. We wish your mother all the best.

Warm regards,

Lauren Sturgess

Acting General Manager
