Recently I presented at Royal Perth Emergency with what I thought was ongoing gallbladder issues. I had been in a different hospital for the few days before with same issue. On release I was home for a day before I started violently vomiting again.
I presented at Royal Perth Emergency at 8am and after a CT scan was admitted to a surgical team. The team has been amazing pushing for scopes and tests but with no results.
Around 2 days later the gastroenterology team (like 6 doctors) and told me they would be doing a gastronomy the following day. At which time the lead doctor dropped the ‘C’ word. It is now 3 days later and I still have had no scope or tests. So for 4 days I have NBM been hooked up to a NG Tube and IV medication but with my 8 canula just tissueing. To think about what could possibly be going on inside my body. I am telling you that 4 thinking I might or could have cancer without having any testing done is messing with my mental health.
I have seen multi doctors from different areas who have all expressed concerns by still no action. The Nurse on Ward C4 are truly amazing but it is still not getting me the answers I need.
So I still sit here Nil by mouth for almost 2 weeks. Hoping that this finds the right people and some action is taken.
"No scope or tests"
