"ED visit for medication"

About: Sydney / Sydney Eye Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I ran out of medication that I have to take every day (and can’t stop taking abruptly) and only realised after 11pm when all the pharmacies were closed. I went to the Sydney Eye Hospital to see if they could help and they were so friendly. They immediately reassured me and made sure to help me quickly - even though it wasn’t high priority in terms of severity, it was such a simple fix that they recognised could be addressed quickly. I really appreciated the kindness of the clerical staff member (a woman called Dell) and the triage nurse (a woman called Antonia). I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. What a fabulous experience. Thanks so much NSW Health
