I have been referred to the wound care clinic quite a few times over the last few years, owing to non-healing wounds and ulcers on my feet. Each time i have been treated with so much care and respect from the nurses, the admin and the occasional doctor. Nurses always discuss their treatment with me and are very ready to explain any implications.
On one occasion my urinary incontinence was out of control and they were just so so good. My only adverse comment is that they seen to be in desperate need of an admin person on sundays. Nurses are constantly having to stop what they are doing in order to answer the phones and deal with the caller instead of being able to get on with what they do best. And their best is very very good, so let them do it, and have the admin position covered!
