"Care received at Wagga Base Hospital"

I had suffered a stroke in November 2025 which  required a 2 month period of rehabilitation at Wagga Base Hospital. My left hand side of my body was all but paralysed.

I spent a week in intensive care before being moved to the rehabilitation unit where the therapists worked wonders on my body . The main reason for this very late review is that I am so grateful for all that was done for me during my stay. From the cleaners to the ever smiling nurses , the therapists who not only got my body moving again , but instilled the confidence within me to continue on . And finally the doctors themselves, from the trainees to the specialists , each of whom were wonderfully adept in their chosen field. 

I most certainly hope my health remains stable in the foreseeable future, however should it change I know that all at Wagga hospital will do their best to get me - or for that matter any patient on their feet once again.
