To the incredible maternity team at the Derby Hospital

Thank you doesn’t quite feel like enough for the care, compassion, and knowledge you shared throughout my pregnancy and especially during and after the birth of our long-awaited son.

From the reassuring words in uncertain moments to the kindness and empathy you showed every step of the way, you made such a profound difference to our experience.

Special mention to midwives Yvonne & Alicia, Dr Frank and the theatre staff who created a space where I felt safe, heard, and cared for throughout every step of my labour- something I will carry with me always. Because of you, one of the most important moments of our lives was met with confidence, warmth, and true kindness.

We are so deeply grateful for everything you do, and for the role you played in welcoming our son into the world.

What an absolute asset we have in little Derby town.

We always strive to provide the best possible care to expectant parents during this incredibly important time, and it is truly wonderful to know that our team was able to play such a positive role as you welcomed your son into the world.
