About: Busselton Health Campus / Emergency Department St John Ambulance WA

(as the patient),

I just wanted to pass on my thanks to the Ambulance and Emergency Department staff on Friday evening on the 27th of March. I had an allergic reaction (that was completely my fault!) and all the staff were kind, responsive and timely. The ambulance officers were efficient and reassuring, and made for a quick transfer over to hospital staff. The doctor who saw to me was so lovely and treated me with dignity despite my own error. A real testament to a great team of people.

So easy to make a mistake when you have an allergy and I'm sorry that happened to you.

We are extremely fortunate with our SJA service personnel who are very empathic and professional. I am so glad that you were treated with respect and your dignity was preserved as it should be.

I will pass on your thanks to the staff who will be delighted that you took the time to write in Care Opinion. I do hope you continue in good health.
