I can’t put into words how grateful I am for the care I received through the Midwifery Group Practice, especially from my incredible midwives, Liv and Mel. From the very beginning of my pregnancy right through to giving birth at the hospital and into those early postpartum days. I felt completely supported, respected, and genuinely cared for.
Liv, my main midwife, was an absolute constant. Calm, reassuring and so knowledgeable. She made me feel safe in every decision and always took the time to listen, explain, and support me in a way that built my confidence so much. Having her by my side through such a vulnerable and powerful time meant everything.
Mel, my secondary midwife, was just as amazing. Warm, kind and so encouraging during labour. Together they created such a strong sense of trust and continuity of care that made the whole experience feel so personal and empowering.
Giving birth at the hospital was such a positive experience. I was never just another patient. I felt seen, heard and cared for as an individual and that made such a difference to my experience bringing my baby into the world.
Thank you both for your compassion and for the way you supported me through one of the most important times in my life. I will always be so grateful for the role you played in helping me welcome my baby safely and with such a positive, empowering experience.
