"Helpful and Friendly ED Care"

About: Kalbarri Health Centre / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter scratched her leg on coral whilst snorkelling. It was nothing serious, she just needed a clean up and dressing. The two ED nurses were so lovely and helpful. My daughter's name is Georgia, so she was happy that one of the nurses was also called Georgia. I didn't catch the other nurse's name but he was as equally as friendly and chatty. My daughter was provided with extra warm towels (she was cold from her swimsuit still being wet), cleaned up, bandaged up, and we were provided with extras to dress her wound at home. The whole experience was friendly and quick. I just love it when staff are happy and friendly! I hope the District Director can provide them both with a personal acknowledgement please!

Dear couragedw35

Thank you for sharing your lovely feedback with us on Care Opinion.

I was very pleased to read how well Georgia and her colleague looked after your daughter. They have used all their skill and experience to provide her with a safe and compassionate environment to look after her.

Your feedback has been shared with the fantastic staff at Kalbarri and I will add my appreciation here of the great work they do looking after the community.

I hope Georgia is well and her leg is healing up.

Kind regards

Di Franklin
