"Endoscopy and colonoscopy procedure"

I recently underwent both an endoscopy and colonoscopy at Fremantle Hospital.

From the moment I arrived at reception, I was treated with kindness, patience, and professionalism. Every staff member I encountered contributed to making what is naturally a stressful experience feel much more manageable and reassuring.

The assistants, reception team and support staff, including those involved in meal preparation, the pre-procedure staff, and all nurses were wonderful—punctual, kind, and highly professional. It truly felt like everyone went above and beyond. Everyone showed attentiveness and kindness, creating an environment where patients feel respected and well cared for. It is clear there is a strong culture of teamwork and genuine care.

The nursing team deserves special recognition. Rachel, Rachel, and Kathy were absolutely outstanding. Their calm, caring approach and genuine warmth made a significant difference to my experience. They took the time to explain everything clearly, checked on me regularly, and ensured I felt comfortable and supported throughout. Their compassion and professionalism are a true credit to the hospital.

A very special thank you to Dr Atul, whose genuine interest in understanding my condition and helping me find answers truly stood out. He took the time to listen carefully and showed a sincere level of empathy that is both rare and deeply appreciated. His professionalism, attention and kindness made all the difference, giving me reassurance and confidence when I needed it most. I’m truly grateful for the care and dedication he showed throughout my experience. I would also like to extend my thanks to operator Claudia for her wonderful support and assistance throughout the process.

Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations. The coordination, communication, and genuine care demonstrated by the entire team reflect a very high standard of healthcare.
