"A leg injury."

About: St George Hospital

(as the patient),

I had a leg injury. All the staff members who interacted with me from the start until the end were kind and supportive but please make sure to pay them well and look after them. Words are not enough. In my opinion, pay them well and appreciate their work whenever and wherever possible. You might end up in a worse situation, I feel money is nothing when you are helpless and the universe is indifferent. It seems to me the long waiting proves that you are not paying enough money and attention to the staff. Open your eyes and help them and they will help us . Thanking all the staff who helped me.

Dear wezendb56,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are pleased to hear that our staff provided you with compassionate and supportive care during your visit in the Emergency Department (ED). I will ensure that your kind words are shared with hospital management and the ED team as I am certain they will be grateful to hear of your appreciation.

I acknowledge the concerns you have raised regarding waiting times and staff workload and appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. These challenges are being felt across the health system, and staff continue to do their best to provide compassionate and professional care within the resources available. Thank you for your feedback, and we wish you well in your recovery.

Warm regards,

Lauren Sturgess
