"Hospital birth"

About: Bunbury Hospital / Maternity

(as the patient),

The care, compassion, commitment I received from my endorsed midwife was above and beyond my expectations. My first birth experience was not all that great and I was scared for the birth of my second child. However having my midwife with me the whole time from prenatal care to postnatal care and everything in between I would do it all over again. If only everyone could experience it how I did, I believe there would be a lot less postnatal post birth trauma.

Dear firewq85,

Thankyou for taking the time to share your experience at Bunbury Hospital on Care Opinion. Congratulations of the recent arrival of your baby, and I hope that you are all settling in well at home.

Bunbury Hospital encompasses a multitude of models of care, including Hospital led services, and MGP. More recently we have embraced the introduction of Privately Practicing Endorsed Midwives. It has been our pleasure to be able to collaborate with these midwives to provide support, care and compassion to the women in their care during your inpatient stay. It is wonderful to see such options for the women of the south west region. And I am pleased to hear of your positive experience.

I wish you and your family all the best.

Katrina
