"Birthing experience at Broome Regional Hospital"

About: Broome Health Campus / Maternity/Midwifery

(as the patient),

During my second pregnancy, I was under the care of the Midwife Group Practice (MGP) at Broome Regional Hospital, and I would love to share my positive experience.

My midwife, Lorene, made me feel truly heard, safe, and supported—something that was incredibly important to me after a quite unpleasant first birth. Seeing the same midwife throughout my pregnancy, along with home visits, made the lead-up to my son’s birth feel much more relaxed and significantly reduced my anxiety.

The other midwives in the MGP were just as supportive, always reassuring me and helping with any questions or concerns. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble.

During the birth of my son, everything felt calm, and we were continuously reassured and informed about what was happening. My husband and I found the experience incredibly healing.

We highly recommend the MGP and look forward to being supported by them again for any future children.
