I came into Day Surgery to have a port for my chemo later today
My first contact was at reception who was thorough and took things slow so i understood all my paperwork.
RN Maureen was a delightful nurse born in Kenya and her bedside manners was exemplary, warm and attentive.
My anaesthetic nurse tech oh wow!!! She was just super amazing (Sheenila ) i felt safe and calm and and thank you for a scrub cap i am doing chemo today and needed a head cover 🙏🏼
My surgeon Dr Ran (Thank you ) as well as the happy anaesthetic Doctor Colin and lastly my super super amazing Recovery Nurse and anaeathetic tech Joahanne who i cannot tank enough for being there when i recovered as i was overwhelming in tears of gratefulness and she was just what i wanted in reassurance and calmness
My experience was the best
I'm sorry for other patients who have had sub optimal experiences and wish they would come in with positive thoughts and some kindness to the health workers so you can receive all the warmth and care as i did today
