(as a carer),

I supported a family member to attend care appointments with Dr Miranda at Charlie’s Sleep Study unit. Dr Miranda was amazing, had wonderful bedside manner, was respectful, could communicate in a way that my family member could understand and they didn’t feel judged or looked down along. This is a skill that I believe Dr Miranda needs to be commended for. Dr Miranda took the time to get to know my family member, not just my family member's disease.

These qualities are fundamental to person-centred care, and it is reassuring to know that your family member felt understood, respected and free from judgement throughout their appointments.
