"Esperance Midwifery"

About: Esperance Health Campus / Maternity care

(as the patient),

Couldn't fault my antenatal, birth and postnatal care in Esperance. The Mid girls, although many were agency, were always so calm and supportive of my choices throughout my journey. My delivering OB was also supportive, guiding me through birth, specifically the pushing phase, and allowed me and my body to do its thing. He respected my choice to also go home early. Although the Mid ward was busy when I birth, someone always came to check on me and bubs if I called, and respected our privacy when they weren't required. They also helped in the early days with breastfeeding and im grateful for one of the agency girls who spent over an hour with me over night trying to help feed bubs.

Dear intensityeq58,

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your positive birthing experience at the Esperance Health Campus.

It is lovely to hear how supported you felt during your journey throughout the antenatal, birthing, and postnatal periods of care by the Midwifery team. Your comments around the calmness of the staff, their respectful approach to your care, and the ability to support even when times are busy is just wonderful to hear. This feedback has been provided directly to the team.

Thank you once again for taking the time to provide feedback about our staff and services, and we hope that you and your new baby are continuing to do well.

Kind regards

Deryck Lykke
