"Excellent care from Rottnest nurses"

About: Rottnest Island Nursing Post

(as the patient),

I presented to the Rottnest nursing post yesterday afternoon in great distress & hoping to get some simple advice on how to deal with & prevent similar issues in the future.

As Naomi saw me holding my chest she responded quickly to investigate deeper than I was indicating or expecting.

Both she & AJ were so caring, thorough (within the limits of their facilities), proactive & compassionate. They took my symptoms seriously & immediately contacted the duty ED doctor at FSH. In consultation with the doctor they strongly recommended that I be transferred to FSH for further examination to rule out anything life threatening.

Although my visit to Rotto ended prematurely, I’m very grateful for the attentiveness & care that I received.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
