In April 2026, we arrived in Cue, Western Australia, my husband had a wound on his foot which we wanted to be looked at, as he is diabetic and we were concerned about infection.
Cue has a Nursing Post, so we visited there and were attended to by the Nurse, Vanessa. She was extremely friendly and dressed his toes and suggested we come back in a couple of days so she could monitor and redress the wound. She showed me how to dress it in between visits and provided some tape, bandages etc. This happened for about a week. The wound healed well and we went back for a final check up after about 2 weeks.
Vanessa was fantastic and she fitted us in, whilst having other patients and emergencies to deal with on her own, including answering the phone calls and answering the locked door when patients turned up. She made us feel welcomed, supported and definitely not an inconvenience.
Extremely pleased and appreciative of this service and particularly Vanessa's care.
