"Staff full of kindness 4N"

All the staff 4N Haematology & Oncology Ward treated me with respect. They were so welcoming and smiled every day. 

I have been to many wards at POW in the past 15 months but 4N had something special I felt. From the first time I entered 4N I knew I was in  good hands. The staff I could tell were all very experience something I didn't feel on the other wards.The staff really care about me from the cleaners, ward clerk and nursing staff and doctors.

Didn't matter if I was sitting in the tea room whenever any staff member passed me would smile and always ask " Am I ok". I always felt important and every staff member cared about my health. This ward is what I believe every ward should be aiming for how to give good patient care too. 

The simple words " Are you OK? " really mattered to me and made me feel safe. I felt very special being a patient on that ward. All the staff I could tell wanted to be working in this ward from the first time I entered the ward the staff member was welcoming and smiling.  Thank you to all staff for your kindness.
